Direct Deposit
With Direct Deposit, your money will be directly deposited into your account on payday, so you can save time by eliminating trips to cash or deposit your paycheck.
Whether you’re on vacation, sick or traveling, your pay will be automatically deposited and available for your use. It is the safest, most confidential way to get your money into your checking or savings account. Plus, saving money is easier since your funds are in your account instead of your wallet.
Direct Deposit: Paychecks and Pension Checks
Setting up Direct Deposit is easy. All you need is our routing number and your account number, which appears in the second set of numbers at the bottom of your checks. When filling out forms for direct deposit they usually require the 12 digit account number format shown on the bottom of your check. Start with a 9 digit account base then add enough zeroes to the beginning so a member number of 123456 would be 000123456, then add a three digit suffix at the end of your account number, signifying your savings account or checking account. For example, an account number of 12345 would be formatted as 0000012345000 for a Savings Account. Or, instead of 000 at the end for a Savings Account, for a regular checking account it may be 080. As an alternative, you can use your 14 digit MICR number from your checks. If you don't have that, please feel free to contact the CU to receive it.
Direct Deposit will be finalized through your employer's human resources department. Then, you can use your Bloom Credit Union Debit Card to make purchases or get cash at 30,000 free Co-op Network ATMs. You will still receive a pay stub from your employer and an electronic statement from Bloom that shows your account has been credited.

Direct Deposit Sign Up Form
Direct Deposit: Social Security
You can set up Direct Deposit of your Social Security check by calling 1-800-772-1213 weekdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Be sure to have your Social Security number and a personal check or credit union statement handy.
Remote Check Deposit
The WMCU Mobile App allows you to take a picture of your check and deposit it directly into your Bloom Credit Union account, saving you a trip to an ATM or branch. Our app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store. Many ATMs also allow you to deposit checks.
